This is JUST what I was talking about Alan. An "ALL LINKS" area. You need an equipment list as well and there should be a way that we can "rate" our experiences. Or would that be getting to complicated?

Also, I need root stock and I didn't see the root stock link on the list.

Jo - A developing farmer based on Bible teachings. Diversity, research, and chemical independence are key. Our top soil is about 12 to 18 inches of depleted sandy loam. Under that is a layer of light colored clay. Our sons will soon have more information as they learn to dig deeper and deeper holes.

Under the tree section of the Nurseries post...

Check with your state's Forestry department/division, most states have an annual tree sale or a full fledged state nursery, that usually concentrates on natives or economically important trees. Some states even have 'wildlife' plantings. And most cases, the trees are very cheap.

Many websites will state: "We do not ship to Canada" or "We only ship to continental United States". And vice-versa.

If you are making inquiries to an American hatchery about shipments to Canadian customers you must make it clear that they will ship to a border USA Post Office not directly to you. Give them a town name for the post office and Zip code. And ask about USDA Health papers.
