Hi fellow gardener, greetings from Hiven from the Netherlands.
I know this forum from Dave (American Gardener) while choosing seeds for trial.
After reading around, I found several other familiar member which I knew both from Tomatoville and I dig. Glad to see you here, Orflo (Frank).
I used to be Momol (Mo the Mole or Mo de mol in Netherlands) in Idig and Tomaat in Tomatoville but now Hiven (which is an mirror image of my name).
I get fed up with the moles living in our garden, so no more Momol as for Tomaat, i get tired of growing & eating only tomato !
As you might guessed, I am not an expressive nor innovative person in introducing my self nor choosing a username, my apology!
We are relatively new in vegetable gardening and this year is our 3rd year. For the last 3 years I have been growing lots of vegetables from leafy types to the fruiting types.
I have lots of fun in growing brassicas and lots of success in growing the oriental vegetables but again...once you get hooked with veg growing, the interest and the must have list keep expanding and now I kind of stop hunting extra seeds but more into breeding them from my remaining collections. I only get to cross breed several type of squash this year but will try with cuke, beans possibly peas next year. However I still hunt for wild edible allium, just 2 more types then I will stop , and by then my herb bed will be nicely filled anyway .
I am sure this will be a great forum to channel our gardening interest, glad to know you all .
