I might have mentioned that am starting from scratch and don't currently have anything to trade. But with some gentle encouragement from some kind members here, I am putting up my wish list and if anybody can hook me up with any of these I'd appreciate it, before I make my seed catalog orders. I am planning place large orders from tradewinds fruit, solana seeds, nichols garden nursery, baker creek and heirloom seeds, and maybe a few others, in a few weeks. I only need really 3 seeds of most types (except amaranth and beans). Here goes:
Tomatoes: Copia, Green zebra, ananas noir, berkley tie-dye, black zebra, hillbilly, the infamous orange flesh purple smudge, or similar wacky-looking colord fruits, also banana legs, stupice or other cold-set types, longkeeper types, Matt's wild cherry, white currant. even just a single seed of OSU blue tomato. Also, other lycopersicon like menanocarpa, glandulosum (peruviana), cheesmanii, chilense.
peppers:fish, bolivian rainbow types, purple tiger or purple cayenne, sweet peppers-purple, chocolate, yellow and nardello.
eggplant: Rosita, apple green, little spooky, rosa bianca.
ground cherries oddball solanacae: like sticky nightshade, naranjilla, pepino, or chichiquelite, also purple tomatillos
cukes: lemon, mini-white, poona kheera, sikkim, beit alpha types, mexican sour and jamaican burr.
melons: banana, collective farm, petit gris de reines, dixilee watermelon, haogen, nutmeg.
squash: galeaux d'eyesines, sweet meat, seminole pumpkin, coosa
beans: pole types:roma, purple, chinese red noodle, scarlet runner, and bush: dragon tongue and purple queen. amaranth- white seeded types quinoa
common kitchen herbs: parsley, basil, sage, oregano, chives, garlic chives, cilantro, dill, thyme, marjoram, lavender, roman chamomile. If someone does hook me up with some of the above, I would not be averse to adding something on your wish list to one of my catalog orders. But I also don't want this to get overly complicated either.

I'm afraid I don't have seeds, but I have most of the herbs you are looking for. Any chance you ever get to southern Indiana? I could set you up with plants.

PM me your address, I can send you some Fish pepper seed. The purple peppers you are looking for, is it the purple/dark leafed or purple fruit? If the fruit, are you looking for sweet or hot? I've got seed for both the dark leaf and fruit. I'm just not sure which are sweet, if any.
I don't have Jimmy Nardello, but I do have some non-bell sweet peppers, if you like a few seeds of those.
Hit me up next year for the runner beans. I've got several different kinds from T&M.

I don't have the watermelon, for the rest it should be OK. f you don't use plastic, I would not bet on banana.
But then, I would not bet on not using plastic either...

I think I have Copia, Hillbilly and Ananas Noir - possibly Stupice- and some other similiar types - although Grungy will have a fab selection of tomatoes as well and you'll prolly change your planting plans after you go through her list. PM me if you want some. Sam.

I can send "giant of italy" parsley and some dill seeds. I probably have some chive seeds and will throw them in, too if I can find them.
If you end up ordering pole beans, I'd take some in return for the herbs. Not fussy about which ones.

I've got 3 or 4 of those tomatoes but looks like others may take care of them. Those would have been Anana Noire, Green Zebra, and Matt's. Also have the real longkeeper, Longkeeper. Also have Spoon which is one of the wild ones.
Of your beans, I've got Roma, Purple Pod, Scarlet Runner, Dagon Tongue, and Purple Queen.

Wow, I'm floored by the generosity...baby daddy, I'll let you know. Houseoddessy, I have a confession....I was at the grocery store the other day...and they had a brand new seed display...whole herb COLLECTION...feeling dizzy....don't remember much after that . Paquebot, I'd only need about 6 seeds of each pole types (roma, purple pod, runner), but could you spare up to 20 seeds of each of the bush types (dragon tongue, purple queen)?

mostlypurple,
You will find that Martin is generous with his seeds. How he manages to grow as much as he does is beyond me.
I'm also amazed at how much Dan & Val do.
Your pepper seeds of Purple Foliage Dwarf, Purple Pequin, Pretty Purple, Large Purple, Purple Szechwan and Fish will be mailed tomorrow.
