Okay I havent had dieseases, onplants yet, but to be clear if or when I do in the future. I DONT want to put the diseased plants in the compost pile right?
as for the factory farms I totally agree with both of you. But here in america atleast corporations run the show. So far officials seem to be moving in directions that will simply block out even MORe of the middle to small farmers and ranchers. Supposedly to mke the system more efficient and safe. COMPLETELY ignoring the science that shows, massive mono cultures of single crops for miles and miles are not ideal, and 30,000 pigs in one place is not safe either. small farms rarely have these issues and when they do it doesnt turn into worldwide issues. Also killing 10s of thousands of animals in one place doesnt seem ideal either, essentially ONE bad animal will contaminate MANY.
As for this particular flu I also agree vaccines are not worth it. They in general shorten the duration of a flu by ONE DAY. But your many times more likely to die if you had the shot. Unless i is genetic, if your healthy your very unlikely to die from it, or even get it to begin with. (I havent been sick in nearly 15years, my 2.5 year old never a day in his life) If it mutates it isnt even good to get a shot then because we can design a flu shot for a flu which doesnt exist yet.
Will we as a world ever stop accepting the "expert" opinions. They are nearly always wrong. The facts make this clear, small farms are better for all involved. Healthy immune systems are WAY better then any pills or shots. Yet common wisdoms prevail for most. Seems people love to play follow the leader...
