So I'm ready to stop checking blogs via a 'favourites' list on my computer and start a feed. I've set up Google Reader but am confused by it. Is there a way just to get email notifications to the blogs you subscribe to?
I've seen Bot a Blog but don't know much about it.
Any and all help welcome!

I shudder to think about emails being launched every time I make a post. What a way to fill everyone's mailbox with nonsense. Are you really sure you want to get an email every time someone makes a post? Anyway, if you can give me some idea of what's going wrong with Google reader, maybe I can help. Are you having problems subscribing or reading blogs? Are you using Internet Explorer, Firefox or something else? With Firefox and Google reader, when you go to a blog an ' RSS logo' (orange) will show up in the address field at the top of your browser. If you otherwise have an account with Google set up, you can just click on that and follow the instructions to subscribe to that blog. If you're using Internet Explorer, consider taking the advice of the German government: news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/technology/8463516.stm

Thanks Patrick. I think I just don't like the format of Google Reader.
