Now ... I've seen some rather abstract messages in my brief experiences in online gardening forums ... even posted a few myself ... but that one takes top prize for all-time most arcane. Is there a point or is it some inside joke only Twinkievillians are privy to?

Hi all, I can see that I don't have to worry about Zman showing up here! This looks like a nice place. I did think that IDig let Zebraman go on for far too long with the personal attacks, but it looks like he's moved on and IDig is a better place for it. BPV, did you mean the cat pic? Too cute!

I see have gotten a few evangelicals over at IDig all upset simply because of my signature line, "Jesus is Coming, Look Busy"
Bwahahahahahahah.

I do remember the dust up when Alan and I tried to explain the Gnostic faith. Terms like heretic and "burn in hell" were flying around. I notice that they were not worried about offending then and the discussions about the Islam were pretty offensive.
I guess it only matters if THEY are offended.

I see have gotten a few evangelicals over at IDig all upset simply because of my signature line, "Jesus is Coming, Look Busy" Bwahahahahahahah. It seems to me that your tag line is a social commentary, and there's nothing wrong with it. And, even speaking as someone of Christian faith, (although many would argue that we Catholics aren't the right kind of Christian) I'd bet that they're more upset that you realize they aren't busy enough to look good during their "rapture" than anything else. You know no one likes to be called out for a job done in a half assed manner! ;D It ruins those people's rep to be seen as doing less than their fellow men, dontcha know! Although, I'm pretty sure they skip over the part in the Bible where fellow men aren't clearly defined. They'd hate to think their fellow men include women, gays, chronic welfare families, Mexicans, or pretty much anyone who isn't sitting right nest to them in church. Sigh...

LG, as you know from many a post over there, I am going to be spending eternity with Satan. I have to laugh all the time at some of those people. They are all reading the Bible and they can't even agree on that most of the time.

OMG, don't get me started... But let me just say that a certain Christian on iDig asked me for seeds and offered me a Rosary that he makes for his Church in exchange. I didn't want the Rosary..no use for that in this house, so I didn't even get a Thank You. Now there's Christianity at it's finest, dontcha think??

For whatever it may be worth; the great Hindu sage, Vivakenanda, said: See Christ, then you are a Christian. All else is talk!

OO: I love your tagline but I also don't feel like Christians are persecuted in this country and I have a sense of humor about me, unlike many that post elsewhere. There's a whole lot of breast beating fundamentalism going on over there. When I see people jonesing for the rapture, I get a little nervous, especially when they're in the majority and seem to like to vote in ways that are intended to hasten it To his credit, it doesn't seem like Jere is too upset about it either. I think that those people might freak him out a bit, too. Maybe I'll keep buying seeds from him, afterall. Blue, someone offered you a rosary as a trade? That's hilarious. Perhaps someone should offer handmade pentagrams in trade for seeds and see what happens.
