Fire Danger - High UV Alert from 9:10 am to 5:40 pm, UV Index predicted to reach 13 [Extreme] Next 6 days 40C = 104F 39C = 102F 35C = 95F 40C = 104F 37C = 98F 31C = 88F whew, can't wait for that cool change.. Spring rain in the lowest decile, 40% of mean. Hottest spring day on record (40.2C) in November. drought = new normal Tanks already down to 1/4 capacity, and summer just started... T

Best wishes to all of you from my rainy country 28 days of precipitation during december with a total of 6 inches of water. But highs and lows are relatively mild. What is the coldest winter you remember in your lifetime. A lot of us in the U.S. got an idea of what winter is in Europe from stories of the bitter winters during WWII and the paintings of Dutch ice skating. They never told us that was not the norm, of course the weather we have had here for fifteen years on average is far, far, far from the norm I grew up in.
