Oh yes, a really fine job. Unfortunately, all I have is a backyard; your greenhouse would probably take up all the main growing area I have.

Hobbitish, you are. You need a house to go with that greenhouse.

That's the right attitude; it's certainly beautiful work Richard! I really like the organic design. We have no shortage of alluvial rock here, only most of it is golf-ball sized gravel.

Mike ,i love that house you posted a photo of,the big slabs as steps looks great, where is that house ?
flowerweaver ,shame that your alluvial rock is small,i'm lucky that all the building material is under my feet including the shingle/sand for the concrete, but also its about having the ideal shaped rocks,we are located between two rivers, one large river to my north which is originates from the main Southern Alps, its rocks are mostly large and round(largest nearly car tyre size)and all one colour en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greywacke,the other river to south is small and goes dry in summer, the rocks from this river are smaller & misshaped while been made up of other types of coloured rock.

Revive Bump. I really like these underground greenhouse ideas. My dream is to build a circular round one (among other types) someday. Not sure why. I want it to be warm enough that i could grow squash in it in the winter. Not sure if that is realistic, but we can all dream right?
