Hello everyone,
I will update this thread with a list of what I have to offer (over 30 tomatoes, dozens of beans, etc etc) within a day or two, but please note I will BUY seeds if you have them for sale or know of places to obtain them.
I am seeking:
Any Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine Heirlooms. Tomatoes, beans, grains, you name it I'd love to try it.
Jerusalem Artichoke, any strain preferably early flowering. Stampede would be a good one, wild-collected strains are preferable.
Potato Onions (preferably the standard yellow)
Perennial Grains - any, just curious to trial them here for cold hardiness.
Grain D'Or Amaranth - notoriously early but rare grain type.
Giant Amaranth - Amaranthus australis
Tidal Marsh Amaranth - Amaranthus cannabinus
Giant Joe Pye Weed - E. fistulosum
Giant Lambsquarters - Chenopodium giganteum Found - thanks so much Flowerweaver
Adropogon gerardii - Big Bluestem, any but preferably a notoriously tall variety
Silphium perfoliatum (Cup Plant) Found, Thanks to GRIN I now have the strain "Kazakhstan" "Originally from the U.S. Plant sunflower-like, to 3m. Flowers yellow. Used for silage on an experimental basis." Sounds like a good one to me
Hibiscus moschuetos - any, but if some are particularly cold hardy I'd prefer those
Picotee Blue Morning Glory
I can Offer:
Please note I can't trade all of these, some I have to save. Also, some seeds are from 2009/10 (mostly the tomatoes, roots and flowers)- everything else was purchased last season. If you request anything that is old I will let you know so you can decide if you want it or not - I don't want people being disappointed by low germination rates so I'd rather be up front.
