Thanks everyone! I keep running into the need for a journal subscription. But that's manageable; the DSU library has most. I may have to drive up on a Saturday or two instead of just for class on Wednesdays, but all I need is one good article as a starting point and I can use its sources to go from there. I have until Nov 19 to finish. If there's something behind a paywall that you need, pm me. I can probably get it.

T, that's it exactly. And adding graduate work on top of it is driving me insane.
Steev, it's Biology I and Intro to Biology, all 9th grade plus last year's hold backs. All focused on the SATP exams; none of the fun we had when we were in school.
Mike H, thank you! I'll be in touch soon if I stick it out. My wife and my psychiatrist both think dropping the class for now would be the best idea. I hate to abandon the effort already put in, but trying to finish is killing me.

Hmmm, 9s. tough! I'm not sure of the institutional situation, but the advice I give to my undergraduate students doing it tough is go to the student help centre and get it officially recognised, then if required, get extensions on the work, apply for special consideration, get a medical certificate, and most importantly, go and talk to your teachers - mind you, the last thing someone stressing about their studies needs is more bureaucratic bullshit to deal with, but if you want to play the formal education game, you need to deal with their formalities. Does your institution have a process to suspend your studies? Again, the position on your side of the Pacific might be different, but it costs us lots to find and enrol students - so we do everything we can to hold onto them, or make sure they come back. If you have to step back from your studies, there will be a way to make your efforts count.
And you efforts won't be wasted, merely redirected or delayed. Good luck with it. T
