Got a stack a foot high. Maybe just more attuned to it but I think I'm seeing more mixes, several kinds of something in one packet, I like that. Park's I think it was, not usually a favorite of mine had true potato seeds.

I spoke with Glenn. He said they would start mailing Sandhill catalogs Jan 2. They should start arriving early next week.

Got a couple more today and some hatchery ones. Don't know if I'm on Sandhill's list. Hope so.

Just found this interesting web site, check it out. It searches multiple catalogs and links to where to buy a particular seed, even shows seeds per dollar comparison between companies. www.pickacarrot.com/

That site is really helpful. I have been comparing for the last week looking for the best deal. Takes two seconds with this site! Thanks for sharing.

Yea, I thought it was pretty cool, don't know how it works but links to some good companies. One of my problems is different things I want are from different companies so to get all of what I want I have to shell out lots on shipping, I hate that.
Peace Seedlings and Adaptive Seeds both arrived at my house today. I got some Fire on The Mountain and Double Red Sweet corn from them last fall. Lots more good sounding stuff to consider too.
Some interesting and a little spooky writing on the battle for seed freedom in Adaptive Seeds. Apparently Oregon is a leader in organizing against corporate control of seeds.

Yes I saw that in Adaptive Seeds as well.
Shipping is a big factor for me this year.

I applaud Adaptive Seeds for their up-front courage; quiet resistance won't work against the corporate bullhorn; these bastards must be resoundingly, publicly OPPOSED!

A+! I've had excellent germination rates and great results with her seed!
