Has anyone here sampled the Oaxacan Green Dent corn in the "green" or milk stage? Any other comments about this variety would also be of interest to me.

I never sampled it in milk stage but I detasseled and pollinated it with a large selection of SU sweet. That was in 2015, I think. Also in 2015 a volunteer of that cross from a discarded ear, that I didn't think was mature enough to keep, grew to maturity. It was also detasseled and pollinated mostly with the SE varieties Bodacious and Delectable RM. It also grew with barely a drop of water it's entire life. I watered the sweet patch that provided pollen but not that plant. I'm gonna add them both back into my sweet patch next year. LOVE the drought tolerance and I remember it had very wide, very dark green leaves. I think I have a picture of it somewhere and maybe more details about it. I'll see if I can find that and see if I need to make any corrections to what I remembered above. [add] This is the volunteer plant whose mother was Oaxacan Green Dent. Pollen father was an unknown sweet most likely SU. This is the ear it produced, I was wrong above, pollen for these seeds was from Ruby Queen and Silver Choice.
