Anybody got info on this African grain? It might be right up my alley, but it seems sparsely noted; any clues where to score seed? I can't find any in the hardware-store seed-rack.
It seems commonly processed by women with mortars and pestles, of which I am deficient, but I could maybe kluge something up with a small windmill, if fonio seemed suited to my farm's rigorous conditions.

Maybe you could buy a package of raw fonio that was intended to be food, I have germ tested store bought quinoa and it had very good germ. Worst case you could eat some of it and see if you still want to grow it . I see Alibaba has a lot of fonio machines if you're looking at putting some real acreage into the crop.
