Johno: That's why I always put a disclaimer on the descriptions for any of the varieties we trade. What I describe is what I saw/tasted from the crop in my garden in this year. I know I get a difference in taste and growth in most of the varieties we grow, just because of the temperature ranges here, let alone the soil and amendments. We always have low humidity, and a temperature swing, day to night, of 20 to 30 degrees F. It's one of the reasons there is no point in me trying to grow Brandywines.
