I found a bakery a county over from ours who said we can have all the bucketts that they produce, just pick them up once a month and she said that there would be more than enough to fill up the bed of my truck, so that's a definite plus on free material, of course minus gas.
Anyhow, Sammy we pick up coffe grounds from the local gas station as well as the local coffe shop and usually get 2-3 five gallon bucketts worth in a week which go a long way to making compost or to feeding the worms, or just going directly in the garden as organic material, in time I would like to find four or five more places that would be willing to save their spent grounds for us because they make a terrific soil conditioner. Good ideas friend.

Yeah, I'm really glad I found a free source, I was running out of the ones I have, now the problem is that I'm running out of room to store the vermicompost and I don't want to spread it while it is winter because the mico-biological life will be weakend by the cold and I want them at full strength when I implement that stuff in the spring.

horse shampoo come in 55 gallon plastic drums. check local tack places for their sale. I usually get them for $8.
lowes has sales often for 18 gallon plastic boxes for about $5.
the local drive in sells 4 gallon mayonasie buckets for $0.50.
