Hi All, I thought I should introduce myself properly. My name is Emma Jane and I live in a little rural village in Essex in the east of England. I have 2 allotments, an okay sized garden and I have my own garden maintenance company, so as you can tell, gardening is my thing. I was pointed this way by flowerpower and I see you have loads of interesting boards for me to have a read through - she keep me up way way into the small hours!
I have just started sowing seeds for this coming year, sweetpeas, broadbeans, kale, tomatoes, chillies, sweet peppers, aubergines and some flowers. I still have masses to go as my aim with the allotment is to be able to visit 365 days of the year and find something to pick to add to our evening meal. At the moment I have an abundance of curly parsley, although I imagine the snow we are currently under will have finished those off. I just wish I could grow Basil as easily as I grow parsley!
I am looking forward to meeting you all, new friends, and some I suspect I already know. ;D

Hi Emmajane, I'm kinda new here too, but welcome. Some interesting characters around here I think with very unusual seedlists.

Welcome Emma Jane. Hope you enjoy it here, and feel free to jump into any and all conversations. I was going to be the first to offer you seeds (tomato), but again I see that Michel has beaten me to it. <smiles> It sounds that you really like playing in the dirt. Again welcome, and please enjoy. Cheers, Val (grungy) and Dan (grunt)

Hi EJ, welcome to HG. See I knew you'd like it here! Feel free to add a link to your blog. And just post a list of whatever seed you need. There is no problem shipping to the UK. Believe me.
