Oh why thanks. Happy birthday to me!
I don't think I revealed my b-day for this forum but it's cake day for me! Actually my party is on Saturday. Yesterday, Michel came round with his mountain of seeds so I consider that a great b-day present. ;D

Gratulere med dagen (as we say over here) If you do want to start planting on your roof, I've got just the thing and it's perennial. It's a special form of the Welsh Onion which grows wild on turf roofs on old farm buildings in the Gudbrandsdalen valley in Norway. It was probably originally planted as a fire protection (it's succulent) but wouldn't be eaten by farm animals up there either, so might also have been cultivated. Some botanists reckon it is so different that it qualifies as a separate species, we could call it Allium gudbransdalensis. Have a look at some of the pictures on this page of the plant and its very special habitat: www.otta2000.com/Diverse/Pipeloek/pipeloek.htmHave fun!

Here are my little monsters - aren't they cute (when they're not jumping up and down on you or otherwise causing havoc). Ok, back to plants.

Beautiful girls, Telsing. You are welcome to package them up and send them our way. <smiles> I promise to return them when they are 16 or get gas fumes in their lives. Which ever comes first.
