Camo,
Martin's right grow what you want. But if you grow and like something we haven't heard of be prepared to spread the seeds around, 'cause someone or someones here will ask for seed. Of course we try to offer seed in return too.

Everyone here is quite generous with their seeds.

I am a lil jealous that you are in ghostly Gettysburg. If my memory serves me well, and it doesn't always, that would put you between the Catskills and the Adirondacks. probably due north or a little northeast of Delhi. As far as ghostly Gettysburg goes, I'm five miles from town so I don't have to put up with the ghost tours that drive residents crazy. We moved here from Bergen County N.J. about 30 years ago. Camo

I'm about 40 mi north of Delhi. My road goes directly there. lol We are on one of the last mountains in the Northern Catskills. This is considered the Leatherstocking Region. I've been here 11 yrs. I am originally from Staten Island. I heard that Gettysburg is packed with the living.

I am originally from Staten Island. I heard that Gettysburg is packed with the living. Flowerpower, I guess that would be Rt.10 going north. I've driven it, back in the mid-seventies. Used to have a friend that lived in Delhi, that we would visit with on our way south from Plattsburg area where Mrs. Camo's Aunt & Uncle lived. Nice area! Used to be quite rural and old-fashioned. That was quite a few years ago, and I know how much the Gettysburg area has changed in those thirty years. I can only hope your area hasn't. I used to love the Leatherstocking Tales and other stories by J.F. Cooper, although I always pictured them to be more towards the Hudson River valley, which I would guess to be just a little closer than Delhi, from you. I used to do a lot of work on Statin Island back in the late 60's. Gettysburg might be packed with the living, especially on the weekends and throughout the summer, but it's the dead that get most of the attention! Except for the shorter growing season, your in a much nicer area. We get considerably less snow too! Thanks for stirring the memories! Camo
