Papavic, It was an honest mistake, but it made for interesting conversation, TY. These pics of Tom's Yellow really bring 'home' the point that you are trying to get across about the beauty of bi-colour being more than just skin deep. They also serve to show what can happen in a breeding program. Although I've been gardening for many years, I've never attempted dehybridization. This year, I've got one or two vegetables (one tomato variety; one corn) that are the results of someone's dehybridization program. Some very interesting specimens out there, I must say. I know. Take pics. I'll try to remember to do that once they are table ready. That's the easy part. Then there's the part about where do I take it from here???
