this week has been hell (our house is old and doesn't insulate). High 80's/Low 90's, no rain....water in the morning and evening, everything is doing ok.

We've had a couple really warm days now with no rain, but on looking at the forecast, there will be rain yet again next week, which is fine with me, because for the first time in my life it actually looks logically to be transplanting trees in mid-august without the fear of killing them or having to water them incessantly, thank goodness!

We've had 3 days with mostly just enough rain to keep me from handling the tomato plants. I have to recapture a lot of branches that have come up since I put them all into bondage before I can take the photos I promised. The local forecast says I can get started again Sunday, so maybe late Monday or Tuesday I can get the photos online.

Low 90's here with heat indexes around 100. They are speaking of chances of rain almost every day this coming week.

Wow, yesterday and today both have been bliss. Didn't break even 75 yesterday, currently 68. Feels like fall. I am loving it, but it is certainly not typical of southern IN in August.

24 to 30 C days for the next week with 10 to 13 C nights. Translation = 75 to 86 F with nights 50 to 55 F. Only one day with a possibility of rain. It can keep doing this for a while if it likes. I might even get some of my fall catchup work done.

Yes, we seem to be having a belated summer here as well. Very pleasant though I had to water some potted plants... eek. I try not to supplemental water unless the plant faints. Poor things.
