Dave your daughter is beautiful. Congrats to her by the way. Also, Johno, be very nervous about gaining that new son in law, especially if he reminds you of some redneck plant breeder from Southern Indiana!

How does one, find the F.A.Q section on this forum,-looked a lot but cant find it Still trying to find out how you get your photos from picasa web after you have uploaded to the public veiwing section on line, what do you do then -to get the photo to appear between the insert image section on the post, been struggling for weeks trying to fathom this-still cant do it. I need a step by step instructions-starting from the uploaded photo on picasa web- where do I go from there- what is the next step and what do I type and where -before actually pasting it into the image slot between the two image markers- that's the bit I cant seem to get right. This is the hardest forum i have ever tried to post photos on- once I have actually done it once-I shall be able to do it again for ever after.

So many great pics, folks! Dave - the bride is LOVELY. Congratulations! Thank you Lav and everyone else. I tried to make em as pretty as i could.. but beleive me it's more in the genes from my side of the family than my ex wifes side. Not that i'm bragging or anything. Yep it was a great wedding... i was proud of her for sure. Woo hoo.. Eat cake!! And guess who caught the garter band everyone?? ;D

Michael: The FAQ is on the start page of the "a little about yourself" forum. You want to be copying the image location, not the image, and pasting that information between the two image markers. You also have to have the album on picasaweb set to public, or it won't work. You do that under "Edit" - "album properties".

Dave: Your daughter just SHINES, as she should on that day. Thank you dan.. you're pretty shiney yourself. I did notice alot of smiles on her though. Don't think she stopped smiling all day. Now.. one more to go. I was thinking of getting a double wedding out of the deal.. but seems i can't give em away fast enough. The next young guy is doing ok now too.. and i know he's ready.. just i don't think my youngest is quite ready yet. Maybe in a few more months.

Thanks Dan, I still spent several minutes searching for the F.A.Q despite your instructions, as was searching for something to click on.-then all of a sudden it dawned on me that it was actually a question in the section rather than a marker button to click on at the top or bottom of the page as is more usual, I only noticed it by chance- when I started to read some of the other threads and topics, *I will have another go or two at trying to post a picture on here- I will crack it eventually. Went to Picasa web photos, right clicked on selected photo- then clicked on copy- it simply went and made another copy of that photo ? the frustration is building daily. -why oh" why will it not work for me Arrrrrrrg"

Hi, Michael.
Are you copying Image Location and pasting in between the brackets?

Michael: You are using Internet Explorer, which doesn't give you the option of saving the image location, only copying the photo. Download Firefox, and there is a whole different list of options when you right click on the photo. I checked out IE, and there is a way to do it using that, but it's an awkward 3 step work around.

Thanks Dan and stratcat,- that's what it must be then!! IE rather than Firefox, whoever would have thought there would be so much difference between the two browsers,I thought the options on most browsers were pretty standard,- will try Firefox today, fingers crossed XXXXX

Nope"- didn't work at all, - I transfered onto Firefox and made that my primary browser, got to the part where it said (save image location) or whatever, clicked on that, and "nothing"-just the sound of the click, nothing happened after that !!!-tried it again about four times-still nothing happened,I was expecting some sort of dropdown list to appear-but nothing at all, I shall have to give it up as a bad job as nothing seems to work for me in firefox, in the end I got so frustrated I un-installed firefox and then reinstalled it again,-still the same-I give up
