Good advice, Karen. I wasn't aware of that requirement in some areas. It is not required at our market and it is encouraged by the market managers.

Check out the local regulations about testing-around here if it is sliced, you have to have a food handlers permit. It is free to get, but you have to attend a class. Sandbar had a lot of good info there. Yeah, I heard you guys have that rule, isn't it weird that we are only a county apart and that rule is not enforced by our health department.
