Hi, Dan, How ya doing? I checked out the site, and I love all the info, just a tad touchy with figuring out some of the technical names. I do fine on family names, but once it gets overly specific, I am lost. But, I have already read enough to recognize my Egyptian Onions as Cat?? The ones with the multiple topsets. I have never grown these before, I got a start at a Farmer's Market, and I have simply been replanting the topsets, and letting them fill a raised bed. How does one eat them? Bulbs, or simply the little topsets? I got some great green onions out of them already. Just snip wash and cook it... And I live in hilly terrain, where you have microzones within a zone, so it is a pain to figure the zone map out.

Amazing, this thread is only what... 8 days old? and it's been read 848 times?!?! WOW! Well, another suggestion has occurred to me, A page or section that is nothing but links to other stuff. Some links to papers for research, another "area" with resource links, like nurseries, seeds, etc. There are TONS of great links here.
Alan, I'm really impressed with the way you've jumped on all this stuff. Your "GUNG HO" attitude is very inspiring. Thanks for what you are giving us!

The only thing I would like to see is more than 10 last new posts at a time. if that's not too much to ask.

Mickey, you can change the number of posts you see-click on 'search' at the top of your page, and you can change it to however many you want to see. Thanks to Johno for that info, I don't think many of us had found that out on our own.

I'm sorry but it wasn't the search 10 posts I meant it was the "View the 10 most recent posts of this forum". If more than 10 posts are made before I get on the forum to read the new posts then any more than the 10 are lost unless I go through all the forums one by one. I have already searched and set the serch for more than 10 posts per page. But that may help others who didn't know that.

Mickey, go to the top, right under where it says Hey Mickey, you have so & so messages. Click on the 'search' that is between 'help' & 'members'. That page will give you the option of what you want to see, and the number of recent posts you want to see, from all the forums.

For my nickle......I'd like to be able to have the option of a "Next Page" button instead of having to change the page number and pressing "go", every time.
Hahahahaha...oops, never mind. Just, accidently, discovered just how to do it.......but you can keep my nickle.

Forgive me if this has already been posted, but I would like to be able to come in and see not only the messages I might have, but see if someone added to the posts I added to. In otherwords (hope I am making myself clear) if I ad something to someone's post and someone post after me, directed at me, I never know it. I will admit, I find it hard to find my way around.

Janet, there is a button at the bottom of the page called "bookmark". This makes a list of all the threads you want to keep an eye on.

Way cool! Thanks for that tip Lynn. I'm afraid to tell Liz that I still don't understand the sticky thing. OK, I bookmarked something... NOW where is it?
