I can get certified organic straw for $3.00 a bale (all other straw around here goes for $5 a bale-not organic) picked up. I have not had a reason to buy hay from this guy but I suspect it is also $3 a bale. I am glad he does not seem to get out to lawn and garden centers where he would find much much higher prices for conventional and would likely double of triple his prices.
