i still have pickles and peppers as well, eating the Jalapeno's quite a bit now (as I am the only one who will). These seem to be must have beans!
Anyone know of anywhere else besides SSE to purchase some of the seeds? If I find more things in SSE I will just purchase from there.

The beans at Prairie garden seeds come from me, Jim grew them and offered them for the first year in 2009. If you can, buy from Jim, he deserves support for all his almost ''missionary work'' he has very rare seeds, especially in the grains department.
For parsnip lovers, he has the KRAL variety, big fat short ones that look like a small elongated rutabaga.
For those high up likeSilver, who need a short season, he carries the SIMONET sweet corn. I never grew it but it is the favorite of my friend Patrice, who likes his corn to taste like the southern folks in the USA like it: big fat kernels, corny taste and not too sweet. It is a dwarf corn on top of that.

Just called Jim in Saskatchewan today, he now ships to the US. He was surprised by the increase of requests for his grains seeds last year, I told him: ''they came from the USA hey?'' he said ''yes, how do you know?''.
I started laughing...we have discussed about grains and Prairie Garden Seeds here in the last year, and we tend to forget that many visitors come everyday, more so than the actual members and by a gigantic margin, and it has an effect...
We have a much larger following than membership, I often get e-mails from canadians, especially french speaking ones who cannot write in english properly but can read, that are not members but who come to learn and watch...

i've been enjoying going through jim's catalog online. love his descriptions. found a couple things people were looking for...
jo, check out his beet section for sugar...
zac, he has a Pickwick Dwarf Runner bean....
someone was looking for fuzzy leafed toms, he has ELBERTA GIRL 'has somewhat sprawling plants with fuzzy silver foliage. The plumshaped fruits are red with yellow stripes'....

A little salt.
I'll see if I have some left, I gave boxes of it to needy people before Christmas.
The canning companies look for non browning cultivars for canning. Butthey do can their beans and corn kernels in that almost waterless fashion. I'll see for the picture...
