I know it is a very good website and project, but the most annoying thing about it all is that almost all of their tomato varieties are list as (Mixed) types, rather than single named varieties- I just cannot bear this method of selling, it is like buying a pig in a poke as they say- when you just don't know what you are getting from them-all very confusing.

That's a very large part of what they do. With a few exceptions, if you want specific varieties, they encourage you to breed them yourself. They also give a long list of seed companies that sell specific varieties if you can't bear doing it their way.

Some people do get frutstrated by that and I can understand it, but there are a lot of places out there selling individual varieties.
Though I haven't officially announced it this year, other than afewgoodplants.com I will also be officially entering the seed selling business this season and many of my offerings will be genepools, though several will also be individual lines. Different strokes for different folks. We need a few companies out there offering diversity such as this.

I don't mind mixed packs. I like surprises.

I like the mixes for trying new things out..like the maters just save seed from the ones you like. Great value I think.

Not ordering this year. I had a list for last year but was too late, and have added plenty of other seeds to grow this year.

I see a Melon variety that looks tasty too, the Charentais X Golden Gopher. But I think I have to wait a while for those as I have most of a pkg of GG from Sandhill that I haven't had the opportunity grow out as yet...
