Just curious, i know most people are quite busy but some of us are city dwellers and have other hobbies as well While I am not a practitioner in any martial art (was as a youngin'), the past few years I have been getting very much into the sport of watching MMA events, mostly professional (UFC, WEC, StrikeForce, etc...). If anyone else is interested, which organizations/fighters/styles intrigues you the most? I am personal fans of the fighting styles of Forrest Griffin, Anderson Silva, Georges St. Pierre, B.J. Penn, Frank Mir, etc...(can you tell I like UFC).

I used to practice Chinese Tiger Boxing and a little wrestling when I was a child, and found a Ninjutsu dojo in Little Rock near where I went to college - spent a little time with that, too. Never was really competetive, I just liked knowing how to defend myself and enjoyed the philosophy aspect. I'd probably be watching if I still watched tv...

That's pretty darn cool. I did a little karate when i was younger, but never evolved into anything. If I lose enough weight and get into shape (goal for this year, lost 45lbs last year), i was contemplating getting back into it.

We also watch UFC here too, and since we have a big TV, we normally have friends over to watch the fights. We also like GSP(canadian boy), Anderson Silva, Forrest Griffin, and Lyoto Machida

Fantastic. Predictions?
I've got Couture, Marquadt, Swick (hoping), Maia, and probably Serra for the main card.
