Last earthquake I felt was in... hmmm... 89? Anyway, I was standing on a side street, next to my parked car. The street was newly paved. The quake was a "roller" as opposed to a "shaker" in that area and the street undulated with waves about 5' high. I clung to my car and screamed at the top of my lungs! That was the Loma Prieta quake. VERY exciting!
