Im Kelli, and I live in Cincinnati (we spent a few years in TN, and its hot enough there I didnt get any better at gardening!)
We live on a 50' city lot, "cottage garden style"- the previous owners planted strawberries and rhubarb in the beds, I have committed to getting a soil test to be safe (113 yr old house). I grow in lots of containers too.
We have a Californian doe and NZ white buck rabbits- they make awesome manure for the garden, and have 3 pullets who hopefully will start laying soon.
I like sewing, cooking, making stuff, and seed saving.
As far as fruits and vegetables- we like pretty/unusual items. favorites so far for this year- Ive got a celosia from SSE, red malabar spinach, NZ spinach, red noodle beans, red velvet okra, rainbow chard, black cherry tomato, a seed-grown Beach Plum from Bountiful Gardens, 5 baby Cornus Mas from seeds Hristo sent me (thanks!), and some tiny baby paw paws I really should get planted out before their roots get too long.

I have the Black Cherry this yr too. It's the first one to start coloring up.
