Hey Gen!
Sure, send me an email about the chainsaw. I avoid tools with electrical cords so I have not looked into it at all.
Just got some deer fencing to go around the clearing.

Congratulations! At last... ;-) Hope you have as much fun "down on the farm" as we have.
BTW, the Hunter beans you sent me are doing great this year, now that we are getting some decent rain again. Thanks again.

I was talking chainsaws with my dad this weekend. He said he had Stilh saws for years and really liked them. A couple years ago he bought a husqvarna and was blown away by the difference. He thinks it is about twice a fast as the Stilh and the maintenance is SOOOO much easier. That's the brand he recommends I get when we move out to our new land.
Another Husqvarna recommendation comes from my cousin who works in landscaping. Apparently that's the brand his company owns and they work very well for them as well.
Happy shopping.

We had an 18" Husquie for 17 years and we heated with wood. Worth every penny. It finally died this year, but since we no longer farm nor heat with wood, the little bit of cutting we will be doing will be with whatever the rental place has when we need it.
