Thanks for the invite FlowerPower. I was wondering where everyone was- IDIG was feeling lonely.
This will be my 6th year gardening and my goals are broad and lofty i.e. getting my gardens on the Garden Tour, green house, selling tomato seedlings next year, veggie stand etc. I have lots of work to still do.
I left the commuting rat race 7 years ago(wow! have I been on vacation that long?) to move home to the Catskill Mtns of NY State. We have 2 young daughters that love to help in the garden (ahem.... eat the fruits of moms labor and pick the flowers).
I'm feeling really confident in my growing skills this year and want to enter our county state fair. Any advice on growing and exhibiting vegetables and flowers would be appreciated.
I've learned a tremendous amount from many of you already on here and have traded with a few of you (great germination results!!!) I look forward to joining this group.
