i introduce myself, my names scott just discoverd this forum actually but am pretty prevelent of HT.com im 20 married to my HS sweetheart weve been together now going on 5 years i dont have alot of land and use mostly raised beds anc containers pretty knowegable and always learning hoping to add somthing here ar HG.com and take as much as i learn

I have 103 acres and end up using my back yard because for some purposes the upper ground is too dry and the lower ground too wet!! How much is not a lot? Grow potatoes; they're roughly the most productive crop you could grow in Oregon. Also: tomatoes in pots, strawberries in strawberry jars and hanging baskets, maybe some of the most productive Brassicas--how about a few "tree collards"? youtu.be/NGEtuh9PdnI

If you get enough land, plant chestnuts. They love the Willamette valley.
