Keep trying. The exceptions are often worth the effort to find them (just like people...)

I have finally two seedling emerging maybe 7 cm or so. This is because of the warm/hot weather recently. I have them in shade so far, but I think I will put them in their permanent position soon. They grow in semi shade. What I read is that it is extremely difficult to dig the roots. I might either find some old roofing sheets and make a raised bed with starposts or use an old rusty barrel. The roofing sheet method would have the advantage that I do not have to destroy the whole plant when harvesting but I could take out one side.I might try to germinate some more plants too.
