Well all of the pretty sunflowers that I planted to bring in the bees are drying now and I'm trying to think of how to use the seeds. I've given some to the hens and they seem to like them but I'd like to eat some myself but chewing and spitting takes too long!!!!! Does anyone have a good way to hull them??? I've thought of using the Victoria mill but haven't gotten around to it.....if it works I'd still have to winnow them but maybe the exhaust from the vaccuum cleaner??
Any ideas???

I think that a wheat grinder will shell sunflowers if the plates are set to slightly less than the thickness of an intact seed.
