When my daughter was a toddler, I often read to her from a book about world animals; she thought "numbat" was hilarious as a word. Any chance of seeds from any of these pretty squash?

That's a pretty squash; does its yellowness mean it's past good eating? Pretty much, I took that pic right before I opened it up to pull the seeds. My steer liked the empty halves, he is a big zucchini fan. Plenty of extra seed for you steev. Shoot me a PM.

Does this tend to have any marsupial qualities? I see that it does have the stripes.
A zuke that eats ants? Oh my that would be great.

Where would one get enough ants to feed such zukes?

A roomie saw a possum go into the garage, speaking of marsupials, so I was drafted to deal with it, being the only one not repelled/afraid of possums. Lots of boxes and stuff in the garage, so I hunted around with a flashlight until I found it between the back wall and some boxes. Going over the boxes, I was able to access the possum's tail (the handle of choice) and hoist it out, to cries of "It'll bite you!". Now, that's just silly; they bite with the other end, same as anybody else. I let it go outside and it scampered off, to regale other possums with tales of having seen a blinding, white light, but being sent back to go on living with a newly refreshed belief in a beneficent higher power.
I like possums; they're so geeky and inept, yet they persevere and flourish, an amusing and hopeful species. They'll likely outlive us, and deserve to, having done no harm.
