I am wondering how to tell a pecan from a hican. I pick these things up, and some people don't know or care what they are anymore. I have a laundry basket full of these things, which seem like pecans, but are different from the ones at the store.
I've been successfully germinating figs, but am not sure of the names. I have purple skin with reddish heart, brown, and white.
The brown figs came from a dollar store package, which said it was a product of Iran.
