Anybody else have problems with Baker Creek?

I have 4 Wade's plants. The seeds were planted at the same time in the same soil.

#1. 8 feet tall with two big cobs
#2. 7 feet tall and no cobs
#3. 7 feet tall and no cobs
#4. 6 feet tall and one small cob.

I guess I won't be saving seed from 2 and 3.
