Wow, Leamington is just about exactly at my latitude. I assume its got a much more moderated climate than mine due to the urban setting and the lake? I hope.

Kudzu is said to only flowers on vertical vines, that is usually the edge of the infection. Make jelly out of them flowers, or wine. Well that would explain the extreme floral fecundity; at least 95% of the patch, if not, indeed every last bit that is not physically underground) is clumbing up and over a stone wall.

I suspect that they found it in Point Pelee Park which juts out into Lake Erie. Nonetheless with warming climate, the northern range will be extended.
