As an aside, it seems like you have been moving to CA for over a year, while we are a like, you know, a foreign country, like, we aren't, like, that hard to, like, find.

It only seems like it's been a year... really my husband has only been there 10 months, and the house has only been on the market for 7... calendar chump change!
Once school is over, the kids and I will be coming out there, house sale or no house sale. I'm thinking Amador County...

not true JT, oh so not true. Sacramento is a pit to live in, searing summer heat that shuts down the garden, freezing winds in the winter, flat yet urban. Amador County is very nice, especially the area around Jackson, small town, gravelly soils, it has a lot going for it is you can stand the small town life.
