7 blooms on Kuganskaya. Incredibly delicate and beautiful. What a surprise. Even if they don't mature, this will still have been a wonderful harvest.

I'll be interested in your opinion of the fruit, whenever it occurs; I've found Kuganskaya more of a "spud" than a fruit, which is to say more useful in a stew than a dessert.

This is not the "flowering" quince, but the big blooms and rounder leaves have ornamental value, to me.
I like to try new foods would also try this in sweet/savory dishes.

I do like the membrillo paste.
I think I need a steam juicer to get the cider, though.
