Hello, I just wanted to say an official hello after years of reading others posts. I am a seed nut from northern Idaho. At the moment my main objective is collection. Last year I did a huge clean out of some of my old seeds (such as beets) and found I loved going into the row of beets and picking which one looked good at that moment. Could be a long one, a short one, a red one, a yellow one. Got me thinking about how landraces were developed and so over the last year I have been on a crash course of learning all I can about genetics and grexs and 'genetically diverse populations.' Loving it. I am also saving true garlic seed and breed rare chickens, cows and pigs. Got some cool geese out there, as well. So thats me. I'll be posting if I got something to say. Good luck to you all. Mickey Taylor
