Hello everyone, I usually hang out on a mater forum, but one of them mentioned this site, so figured I would join and look around a bit and be of any assistance if the opportunity arises. But I say, don't expect much knowledge from this ol Missouri hillbilly but I do love to grow. I have a wife and two boys and live on ten acres of rock, clay, sand, and black gumbo located far enough west of the Ozarks that farming country begins. Have been in a garden all my life because I just love to watch things recreated from seed. I have loved it so much that I owned and ran a plant retail business where I catered towards culinary and medical herbs, as well as the usual flowers and veggies. Got out of that several years ago but kept up with the truck gardening and market going. My seed starting greenhouse burned three years ago and have jonzed for one ever since. well being a junk man, I finally scrounged up enough materials to build another and boy do I love it. the only bad thing i built it two small ;D Here is a pic to show you what my greenhouse looks like right now (full and a mess) and as well a person in the pic that resembles me for those that want a face to connect with a name. You all have a good day and have fun. Mark PS forgot to tell you that yes that is snow on the ground outside, but 80deg. inside

Well it looks like my new greenhouse is what we are most interested in, so I guess I need to give you the grand tour. For starters, I have $450 in it so far. The glass on the roof is tempered and is the third greenhouse it has seen and of course free. As well the glass on the sides is double paned low E rated glass and as well free. same with the new green metal and some trim, free. as well all the back half lumber wise was free. the only thing I bought was screws, Silicone, treated lumber and some trim. As well all the benches inside are out of western cedar and redwood and again free. we then needed a germination table with bottom heat and as well it needed some lights to keep the early sprouters happy. and although not completely finished free. But the dog house I like to call it would not be complete without a office space to like type at and organize things, so yes I gave it one which I am at right now. Now you might ask what I heat it with so I will trough in a pic of the stove i use. it was actually in my high tunnel so I used it and of course it was Free. Hope you all like it and if you have any questions, fill free to ask. Mark

I saw it, and if you lived here, that would be a hanging offense. Unless you own water rights (which they stopped giving a long time ago) they slap you silly if they catch you.
I noticed one of my neighbors had a pump down in the creek by our cabin. Ohh, that water belongs to Southern California! Those L.A. folks buy all their water from Northern California and get down right huffy if we want to use any of it.
