Okay, I'm getting darn tired of this Steev. I've a ripe pineapple sitting on the counter and I guess I'm going to have to go to the farmer's market if I want to make jam.
I had cheese and wine and strawberries and fresh for lunch. Hiccup.

Pineapple-apricot jam? Lord! I ate so much of that in my teens, that being the only jam we canned, if I never eat it again, it will be too soon!

They were; they're gone (except what's canned as jam or chutney).
Three of my six apricot trees croaked this year; I've no idea. The life of a stone fruit is hard.
I think it's time I started planting pits for rootstock, being discouraged with "semi-dwarf" trees grafted onto crap rootstock; I'm not as concerned with "semi-dwarf" as I was.
