So I ran out of some seed for fall and may place another seed order. It got me looking at radicchio for fall. Is it worth trying?

I'd say that is the only time it is worth trying, but your climate may vary.
It is better after a little frost.
We grow it year round, but only eat it in quantity in winter and spring.

Although it's useful in a salad mix, it's much better braised or grilled, but you do need a taste for bitterish.
