Are buffalo gourd daylight hours sensitive?
I don't know; I'd guess that if anything they'd need long days, since they are native to the USA.

No luck with crosses this year. But, the buffalo gourds did grow some nice chunky roots, shaped rather like little hands. I planted them into the ground for next year, when I'll try again. The Malabar gourds were miserable.

Buffalo gourds start blooming in mid summer. So like Gilbert says, if they are daylength sensitve, they are long day.
