Yep the stem looks as wide, but still a much darker green than mine.I'll have seed this time next year from it so i'm willing to give to who ever wants some Here's a photo in the sunlight,hopefully it shows how pale green it is

That chard looks spectacular. Chard is another thing I've had no success with here in North Carolina. Did beautifully back home in California... I sure do miss California sometimes.

The interesting thing with this pale coloured chard is the sparrows dont pick holes in it when compared to the dark green Forkhook chard that ive got two plants of in the garden.

EGADS! NO! I truly hated the traffic. When I lived in Tracy while working in Mt. View, it tookk me SEVEN hours to get home one Friday night. No, I DONOT miss the traffic. Thanks for that little reminder! I DO miss the fertile and relatively bug free soil. Don't miss the drought... Though right now it's raining for the 3 day straight and the temps are in the 40s.... LOLOL Guess I'm wanting an imaginary paradise, huh?
