Got garlic, onions, carrots, english peas, squash/zucchini, tomatos, beans (several varieties) corn and potatos up already. Still have eggplant, peppers (hot and sweet) and okra in the greenhouse waiting to transplant. Still gotta plant more corn, melons, cantaloupes, winter squash and my gourds. Waiting on Mother Nature to sober up and get the weather stabilized....

I planted gourd seeds over the weekend: Long Necked Bottle, Bushel, Luffa, Birdhouse, Small Ornamental mix, and some from LG that hopefully will turn out black and orange - they looked sooo cool for Halloween!
It looks like 70s by day and 40s by night for the next week, so I think I'll wait a bit longer before planting squash and melons, if I can keep 'hold of the reins!

I've got everything out except some late tomato and pepper seedlings and winter squash. My cukes got hit pretty hard by our frost last week. Their leaves turned yellow and died but they have new leaves now so I'm hoping they'll be okay. Everything else is just maintaining except the cold loving plants. They are growing fine.

Ma Nature finally gave us a break and I got my cool season stuff out yesterday. Peas, chard, swiss chard, broc, cauli, pak choi, Chinese cabbage, beets, kohlrabi, spinach, lettuce, carrots and radishes. And got the asparagus in early this morning before more icky moves in temporarily. The snow we had late last week had just the perfect amount of moisture in it for planting. I'm happy!

I noticed that my early summer Crookneck had little squash on it today. I cannot hardy wait.

DH got pigs out of the garden this afternoon. Now I guess I better get a garden plan drawn up so I can start planting.
