I have ordered probably all the potatoes for 2015
Reddale and Atlantic from Irish Eyes
Lehigh, Salem and Satina from the Potato Lady
Megachip from Grand Teton organics
May pick up one or two more but probably not.
Addendum:
I was so impressed with the Victoria potato last year I was going to repeat but no one in the U.S. has them this year, so, as they store very, very well I will save a few for replanting.

Because we are planting our potatoes in the fall now, ours are already planted. We have Bintje, Blue Russian, Envol, Pink Fir Apple, Purple Viking, Red Thumb, and probably a few Russet Burbank. We will buy some more Russet Burbank from the garden centre and add them in the spring. Bog standard, but everyone's favourite potato around here. We also (I hope!) have a row of seedlings we grew out from true seed last year.

I've ordered Natascha, Peter Wilcox, Strawberry Paw and Desiree.
I also plan to plant some saved tubers from last year including Abenaki, Early Bangor, Papa Cacho, Purple Pelisse, and Fenton Blue along with some Pinto which is an experimental line from U Maine that I bought at the common ground fair last fall.
Also planting some tubers grown from tps last summer plus some new tps seedlings.
Probably more potatoes than I'll be able to use myself before they sprout, but my parents and sisters always welcome my extra produce.

My fall potatoes came up with the rain we just had, these are potatoes that I hold from last year's harvest. I have about 100 TPS in the sprout house. They look so small. I'll do some photos later.
Too wet out there. I stepped and my boot came off. I had to stand on one foot and pull it out...very awkward that. I looked like a stork. I was also in my pj's drinking a cup of coffee, which I spilled. My son got a real hoot out of it. He was rolling into the driveway as all this happened. This is how I know that I looked like a stork. I guess most women don't get up and put on their rubber boots before getting dressed to look at the garden.
It's boot sucking weather. So, a good time to play with seedlings.

I'm sure the notion of a woman undressed but for rubber boots is intriguing to many.

Alright, so I found where to post this at! I had some different potatoes I was storing from last year. I got quite a few planted out yesterday and the day before. They all started sprouting early, so I transferred them into shallow dirt/pots when I found them sprouting. Whilst I was planting yesterday, some of the Purple Majesty already had some tubers forming, wow! Potatoes I am growing this year: Purple Majesty German Butterball Peruvian Purple (Fingerling) I also got my mitts on some T.P.S. so I am waiting for some free space to start growing those.

I ordered my potatoes at least a month earlier this year than normal ,in Feb..
I was contacted by Irish Eyes that my order was cancelled because they were out of potatoes.
I am not a happy camper.

I wouldn't be happy either. To me, if you order and pay that early, you are "reserving' your order. When you posted about your problem I realized my seed potatoes were late. I e-mailed my supplier, and got a ups confirmation today. Hopefully when they come tomorrow, they are what I ordered.

Things get curiouser and curiouser. They said they would mail me a check with the refund, then yesterday I get an e-mail saying they would refund it to my credit card, then today the potatoes arrive on my door step. Must be run by the same people who run our government.

Well when I thought I was not going to get my Reddale and Atlantic from Irish Eyes I picked up some Saginaw Gold, Sunrise and Nooksak from Potato Garden. I finished planting potatoes today, and have more in the ground this year than I have had for along time. When the potatoes stared coming in, I started to think I had lost my mind ordering that many if the sheep manure in the garden increases yield, I will have lot of potatoes I cannot use. I put in a row of mostly Victoria from last year. I am very impressed with the Victoria as a eating potato and its storage qualities.
I have been sick of some sort for a couple of weeks. It was near eighty when I planted today and planting the potatoes was the last thing I did. The black gumbo in this garden is easily three time heavier than the other garden up by St. Cloud Mn and by the time I got to the potatoes I was out of energy. I would dig thirteen holes, put the potatoes in, cover them and then go sit down for five minutes, water was dripping off of me. I did this for for six rows. It is never fun but when for what ever reason you are out of energy, it makes you wonder why you do it. Of course last week I had genuine diarrhea, for the first time in forty years, for two and a half days, and compared to that, I guess today was not so bad.
I did a quick re-roto-till of the garden before putting in the potatoes. I did it barefoot. The soil surface dried quickly and within an hour of roto-tilling was genuinely warm underfoot. As I drove down the highway today, some farmers were working there fields and sending up huge dust clouds; we need heavy rain badly.

I planted 200 row feet of potatoes today. 4 50 foot rows. Row 1 are tubers I grew from tps last year. They aren't fancy, but it was my first attempt. They are offspring of some kind of russet and Katahdins. The end of the row got a few Fenton Blues. Row 2 is a weird one. I planted three types in this row. One of each then started over. Hopefully they emerge together or hilling will be a pita. All three were excellent storing in the sub-optimal conditions I provided them with. The varieties are Purple Pelise, Pinto (AF 4659-12), and Papa Cacho. That's a lot of "P's". I planted them like that because I'm hopeful bees travelling down the row will provide me with some crosses. Having good pollen producers on each side of the row won't hurt either. Row three is Desiree and Peter Wilcox. Row 4 is Natascha, Strawberry Paw, and Abnaki- which was our favorite last year for mashing.. I'm hoping the planting scheme will help with berry production. I have tps plants enough to plant maybe another 40 or 50 ft for seed if planted spaced out. I might crowd them to save on space.

I'm optimistic that the gophers may not get my spuds this year, as the dirt-rats are very busy at the other end of the garden obliterating my cardoons.

First potatoes are popping out to the leaf mulch.
These are Victoria left over from last year; if they produce like the five hills I had last year, it is going to be a bountiful harvest.

I'll note cutting seed potatoes didn't work out well for me this year. Some of the seed potatoes I received this year were huge. Those plants are smaller. That makes 2 years in a row. (no more cutting seed for me)
I also lost some of the purple fingerlings to rot. I dug up a few to check. That row has a few skips, oh well.
Hilled up all rows to smother in row weeds yesterday. Some more than others
