Good Luck! How did you go with the old place/ new place/ both places decision? I'm not running a business, but did 2 gardens about 3 miles apart for a few seasons recently. Did my head in. If i couldn'r find time to visit the more distant garden, I would stress about not seeing it. The travel time, tho only 10 minutes each way, cut into my limited time - if i left something behind, that added up to an hours travel with the double trips. Just a thought.
And I am very disorganised. T

Travel time, hauling stuff back and forth, on the surface I lean toward just going ahead and moving, plus I don't like the word rent. Only thing is, would it cause an interruption to service for your existing customers? Looking at the map link it looks like you have lots of street frontage. Reminds me of when my woman lived in town. (very small town and not on the main street) I helped and she had LOTS of flowers. People drove by just to see it. One time she had a yard sale and people wanted to look at the yard. As years went by we started selling seed of annuals at the sales, then we started digging up perennials and selling them. Then we started potting things up ahead of time. No advertising, little expense. We still do that but now we have to haul our stuff to flea markets and swap meets. If you plant it they will come and then they will want it.
For us plants and to a lesser degree seeds are much higher profit and easier than produce. Largely because they don't have to sell in a window of few days or even hours. I give produce away all the time but don't sell anything except for eggs.

Yes I did make a decision on next year. I will be renting 50x120 with the perennials I have there, winter squash, sweet potatoes, storage potatoes, storage onions and garlic put in this year. It will allow me to gradually move all my stuff over. The main crops will go in at the new place. There will be 8.5 miles to drive now instead of 3.5 since we are going 5 miles north. Low maintenance crops will just need a weeding once and watering deep once per week.
