A US gardener outside of this forum has asked about get some onion seed from me, what are the rules around him getting seed sent to him? what does he need to do.

I have sent a heap of packets of seeds to the US with declarations on the parcel and they have all got through ok.

Ok sounds like nothing to much to worry about, i'll just stick a declaration on it and chuck her in the mail.

I'll bet that it's Pukekohe? Wouldn't mind trying them here but I'm long day and I think that NZ is intermediate day.

I would call Pukekohe long Keeper a long day because they dont start fulling out till around the longest day

Neither your onion seed or snapdragon seed made it here to me in Texas, so it probably depends on what station it goes through. I notice folks on the east and west coasts seem to have better luck receiving things from out of country than I do. I think I looked it up at the time and onion seed from NZ was on the no import list?
